PHYS
As someone who finished the previous course (PHYS 1421) with an A+, even with 100s on some midterms, this course is insanely frustrating and difficult. The textbook is your lifeline, and so is YouTube. I studied extremely hard for my 2nd midterm after a weak 1st midterm, several weeks in advance, usually 9-10 hours a day, and scored less than 15%. The average was 11%, and not a single person in the class landed 40% or higher. This was the only course I've ever taken that was genuinely unfair to students.
I have no clue whether or not this course was drastically easier with other professors, but Storry did not do any favors with the lack of notes posted to eclass. So if you're going to skip class, you better be sure you know your stuff.
If you are going to take this course, do your best to contact someone for past test and exam material, and also study off of the textbook and YouTube relentlessly. And make sure to spend an insane amount of time doing problems, while also understanding why the solutions make sense.
