ECE110 is a two-part course introducing the fundamentals needed for the upper-year ECE program. The first part of the course focuses on the basic physics of electromagnetics and the second part of the course focuses on simple linear circuits. The electromagnetics half of the course is a continuation on the electric and magnetic field units from 12th grade physics, while the linear circuits half introduces basic resistive circuits and techniques for solving them as well as first-order transient circuits.

For the circuits half of the course, solve as many circuits as possible. Solving circuits are mainly an algorithmic process so the more you solve, the better and faster you'll get at them.
